Lawrence Lupin

Founding Director

Lawrence Lupin is the founding Director and head of the firm. Since he first established the firm in 1998, his leadership and passion for client service have created a thriving practice, expanding in size and scope of services.

After graduating in law at Birmingham University in 1984, Lawrence completed his legal training at Simons Muirhead and Burton in London’s West End. Initially a criminal lawyer, and with experience in personal injury, and trial advocacy, he has specialised in immigration law since 1993.

Under Lawrence’s guidance, the firm has developed a robust ethos of helping vulnerable people, including victims of torture and those at genuine risk if deported to their country of origin.

Lawrence’s casework ranges from securing sponsor licences for colleges and businesses to judicial reviews preventing the deportation of skilled workers. He has succeeded in securing positive outcomes for clients applying under Tier 1 including investors, entrepreneurs, the exceptional talent category, and representatives of overseas businesses.  He has extensive experience in family  migration, EEA cases, and human rights  including  representation in the  Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).

Marriage Visa Success

Mrs M’s Husband was refused a marriage visa. We appealed putting in very detailed grounds for appeal arguing that the Visa should have been granted. The UK Visas and Immigration backed down and withdrew their decision granting Mr M a visa without the need for an appeal hearing.
