Mercedes Diaz joined the firm as an immigration caseworker accredited at Level 2 in 2008. Prior to joining Lupins she spent several years working as part of a private immigration specialist team with a central London law firm. She has represented clients in cases involving asylum, human rights, deportation, British nationality and entry clearance Applications.
She has also represented clients in the Court of Appeal and the High Court. A specialist in immigration since 2006, Mercedes is especially interested in Human Rights. She continues to deal with a variety of cases including representing detained asylum applicants under the DAC /DIA scheme.
Mercedes speaks English and Spanish fluently.
