Permanent Residence following Relationship Breakdown Secured
Ms T’s marriage to an EEA national had broken down and she was at risk of losing her Job and potentially her career in the Finance Industry. On closely examining her history and documentation we advised Ms T that she was entitled to Permanent Residence in the UK. An application was made under European Law backed up with arguments based on Human Rights. During the application process we provided Ms T with letters to her employers making it clear she had the right to work securing her employment while the case was being considered by the UK Visas and Immigration. Following a positive decision Ms T can now concentrate on her young daughter and her career.
What the client said
“My visa application was quite complicated after I separated from my EU national husband. I discussed with a few law firms and they advised that I should apply for ‘EU residence permit’ that I already had and was about to expire. It didn’t appeal me much to apply for the same thing again however; when I met Lawrence Lupin he suggested that I should go for ‘Permanent Residence’. He spent 2 hours with me going through various laws and concluded that we can go for ‘Permanent Residence’. I was worried but he was positive and confident in his actions. I thought his cover letter to the embassy was detailed and explained the situation as best as possible. I had regular updates from Lawrence and being so busy he always picked my call or returned my call in couple of hours that I thought was impressive. I am glad I went to Lawrence Lupin as I have my ‘Permanent Residence’ now. He goes an extra mile to help and his friendly, down to earth attitude makes things even better. I can’t thank him and his supporting staff enough as this has made my life and my daughters custody case a lot easier.”
