Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa – Successful Application to Arts Council
- Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa
Mr M, a Syrian national initially instructed us to assist with his Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa.
On taking instructions it became apparent that our client’s wife, (an eminent artist in the middle east, having had her paintings exhibited in Europe), could potentially fulfil the requirements for making an application for a Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa.
We assisted Mrs S in making her application to the Arts Council for endorsement of her being a potential world leader in her field. We advised as to the evidence that would be required by the Home Office and made relevant representations in support of the client’s Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa application. The application was successful.
Mrs S and her family were all granted leave to enter the UK for 5 years.
This proved to be a more effective application for the family as there was no need to invest £200,000 or make extension applications in the future, before being eligible for indefinite leave/settlement.
What The Client Said
“I instructed LUPINS to help me prepare and submit a Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa. It was not an easy task as it involves a 2-stage application process. First you need to be endorsed as a leader in your particular field from the relevant competent body (in my case it was Arts Council England. Once you have been endorsed, you can apply for the visa to the Home Office. It is not a standard process and needs to be prepared on the basis of each applicant’s case, supporters and achievements.
LUPINS kept me fully updated and examined each supporting letter I received from different Art Organisations, in the UK and abroad, and helped me to choose the 3 most appropriate to submit. We discussed the 10 most recent important achievements of my carrier, covering international awards, solo exhibitions and media coverage and
Mr Lupin prepared and added covering letters for each stage of the application.
I was guided step-by-step, which involved extensive discussions and explanations, in person, over the phone and by e-mails throughout the entire process, until I got my visa. The visas of my dependents were also granted.
LUPINS kept to the initial quote given to me, despite the additional work undertaken to complete my complicated, non-standard application.
I appreciate the outstanding work of LUPINS and the high level of professionalism in dealing with the immigration matters on a tailor made basis. I believe each case is different and should be approached on the individual circumstance of each client and that is exactly what LUPINS did. I highly recommend this Law firm to anybody who wants to move to the UK using a well-organised route.”
